Spell Check
This Forum is in Dire Need of a Spell check feature. I know the Moderators will see this and close it but maybe they will look into adding a Spell Check feature to this Forum. I sure hope so...

Just take your posting, cut & paste it into Microsoft Word (PC or Mac), run spell check, and then re-cut & re-paste it back into this forum.

When you are in advanced reply look to the right. Hit the ABC.
I just noticed you don't even need to be in advanced.

Mine doesn't have that. I'm using a Mac, does that matter?

ABC's? Where?
My browser (Firefox) puts red squigglies under a word misspelled, then I just right click on it and it shows probable spellings or words.

spell check
Just curious, Paul - why did you capitalize "Dire Need" and "Spell Check"? (jk!)
Correct spelling is increasingly rare, and proper grammer is approaching ancient history status. Neither are stressed in most schools any longer, and there is even a growing movement away from teaching cursive writing. I suspect most US citizens will be unable to read our founding documents as they were written within a few decades. Computers will take care of all this 'unimportant' stuff for us.
Just for grins notice the number of posts that begin with the inexplicably-present "Well" sometime. Add the occasional typo to the mix and it's a wonder any of us EVER understand each other - myself included. I think I'll put the top down and have a relaxing drive home today. Ain't life grand?

Firefox, Chrome, Safari, Opera, and other browsers automatically come with spell check. IE does not, but there are add-on's available for it.

I know, it wanted it to be "squiggles", but I didn't want "squiggles", I wanted "squigglies", so I over road it (over road it??)

Thanks for the Intelligent responses. When I clicked on the ABC it says that I need to do a download to get the Spell Check installed.
