CorvetteForum does not use ratings. The smaller stars that you see under a username are tied to the members' amount of posts made.

The rating you got came from the Garage. When you visit a Garage entry, you'll see the stars. Simply hover over the stars and click over the amount of stars you want to give. It's pretty simple. See the attachment.
You can rate individual photos by giving them a thumbs-up. You'll see a green vote button with a thumbs-up below the picture. See the attachment.
