I get that same thing as well. I have to leave the site and come back or advance a page and then return to get the screen back. I also get a bar at that bottom to stop script every once in awhile in order to load up the screen.

Do you know exactly what script your browser is reporting?

I'm getting this same screen tonight using Chrome.

I noticed the status bar showed several sites trying to load as the page was trying to build .

choices.truste.com
so.imc??.com (something like that)

and a few I didn't write down.

It has been like this frequently over the last few weeks, especially if I open a new tab and click the Corvette Forum window that indicates a previous visit. I can usually get in if I go to my Favorites link for CF.

Tonight it wouldn't. I never did get in with Chrome.

I'm using Firefox to get in to post this.

In fact, it happened when I tried to post this question- I'd agree that the issue has become more prevalent in the past couple of months - - intermittant- possibly based upon network traffic on the site?

I have used Chrome, Firefox and IE as jumping off points, have adjusted my pop-up settings to allow the forum, cleared the cache periodically and adjusted pricacy and security settings.

Probably 50% of the time, I have to hit refresh multiple times in order to see the full page. I've tried all the cures I can think of- and would appreciate any tips the IB folks might suggest.

Thank you.

The last 3-4 days, I'll post a reply to something, and about 25-30% of the time, I hit the "back" arrow to go back to the topic, and I'm locked up. I have to hit the "big red X" at the upper right hand corner, to get off the site, or anywhere else on the 'net.....

I get hung up a lot by not having the back button work ONLY ON THIS FORUM. (No clue why)

My work around is to hit the forms button and then goes back on the forum that locked or switch to another. (This mostly happens when on OT or PRC!

Yes There is an ad here on the forum that is killing IE especially.

If when you have the issue you click the small down button next to the back/forward buttons you will see an endless stream of ads that are causing the issue.

In my case it's "view.atdmt.com/com/iview"

Default Perhaps????

Recently I was trying to solve another problem and found that Microsoft Silverlight was causing issues. Since it's Microsoft and it was installed on the new computer, I was reluctant to uninstall. Before I did, I found the site where I can reinstall and felt confident that I could return if needed. I also did a restore point before uninstalling Microsoft Silverlight.

Thus far, I am happy to report no issues on any programs or websites. I am especially happy the Corvette Forum has not yet "black screened" me, yet. I been on the forum for several sessions and no lock-up.

I have also recently changed from Norton Internet Security to Norton 360. Things seemed different (better) then too, so maybe either or both have helped.

Windows 7 64 and IE9

Just wanted to update the original post.
