Default Forum Changes - Color Issues

I have to say that I am very disappointed in CF for the complete lack of adhering to W3C guidelines for Web design, specifically when it comes to the color combinations developers should use so color-blind people can see the content.

I am color-blind, and red happens to be one of the colors I have a lot of trouble with. The change to the forums overuses red (and shades of gray that must contain a lot of red in the RGB mix because I can barely see it), which means that a very large part of the site is now invisible to me.

So the question now is, what is CF going to do about making its content available to those of us who don't mind red on a Corvette in the least, but find the forum is one place where it should not be used.

Agreed. I'm not color-blind, but the red is just too much. I used to be able to choose between different looks, but if that option still exists it's not where I've been looking. I'd like for some far more professional-looking options to be made available again, such as blue or grey headers that can be chosen instead of the red.

Setting the followed link color to be the same color as the background wasn't a wise choice. None of the links over on the left of the page are visible after having clicked them once.

The behavior you describe isn't normal. That appears to happen if you're using ABP and it blocks the CSS file from loading that makes up the appearance of those links in particular. CorvetteForum can't support extensions that alter the appearance or functionality of the site.

So there is no way to change the color of the forum away from this?

There appears to be an option for it under User Control Panel (CP) > Edit Options > Forum Skin, but all three selections give me exactly the same look and color combination.

I may be mistaken, but I thought that the generational links at the top of the page changed the colors as well as the logo, but now they appear to change the logo only.

Yes please. I'd like to be able to see the entire site, and not just what doesn't bleed into the background or foreground colors.

Red is not a wise choice to use against gray backgrounds. If you had any idea what CF looks like to me now you'd be beating your developer repeatedly with a wet newspaper.
