At one time maybe a 1/2 year ago you could make a post, edit the post right after to fix it up (given you don't navigate away or refresh the page and you don't wait too long) and there would not be an "Edited xyz123" marking with the horizontal line. It was a fresh and clean procedure.
Now if I edit the post I always get the dirty "Last edited by C5 Hardtop; [datetime]." with horizontal line above the edit log.
I prefer a cleaner post w/out the edited markings. So I don't edit and now I suck at posting even more.
What would it take to put the grace period back for post edits?

This change was made last year in late summer - early fall to aid us in monitoring an issue. It has remained that way, since, with only a few complaints while the benefit has aided us in monitoring an issue.
I will check with Savewave, the Administrator, to review.
Ah, no worries. I didn't know it was being used for tracking/monitoring. I'll just learn to post more efficiently by thinking things through a bit more .
