Are you on IOS (Apple ) or Android?
For Android, best solution is Firefox plus an ad blocker plugin. If you have to use Chrome, there's a setting to block most popups.
I'm not sure if there's a good fix for Apple devices.

Android users who have Chrome browser have a built-in option that blocks these issues regarding rogue ads. Enter the following URL in the address bar:
chrome://flags/#enable-framebusting-needs-sameorigin-or-usergesture
Then enable the highlighted option.
Unfortunately, there is no setting in iOS/Safari that can block rogue ads.
The advertising team is aware of the issue and has been working on the issue. A few steps were taken but that hasn't eliminated the issue. The other step is pending as it's relying on outside people to make a change.
In the mean time, there is no easy fix for iOS users as iOS doesn't have the same feature that Android and Chrome do in blocking rogue ads. Alternatives are using the full-desktop theme or the mobile app as I believe those use a different ad model.
We're locking this thread because we can't monitor and update multiple threads regarding the same concern. The referenced links above are there in case there's useful information to share.
Thanks.
