Amazon gift card spam advertisment only when I'm on this forum!
I get this amazon spam gift card bs when I'm on this forum. It doesn't happen on any other forum, and it happened when I was using my galaxy note 5 and now my new note 8. Is there something wrong with this forum? Or my phone? It's hard to believe it isn't a cf issue because I never have the issue on any other forum or website. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I noticed that on my iPhone as well when using Chrome, however it doesn't happen using the Adblock Plus browser.

been happening to me on my Galaxy S8, also happened a year + ago as well when I had my Galaxy S6. Ongoing issue. I think it is not the forum per say but the service providers software ad engine.

Android users who have Chrome browser have a built-in option that blocks these issues regarding rogue ads. Enter the following URL in the address bar:
chrome://flags/#enable-framebusting-needs-sameorigin-or-usergesture
Then enable the highlighted option.
The above works at the browser level and is not specific to CorvetteForum. Given how these issues are only growing online, it's wise to use the available tools because you certainly will see this behavior online.
The advertising team is aware of the issue and has been working on the issue. However, this actually is not a specific issue to CorvetteForum. This is a (growing) issue with advertising online. That's why Chrome has a beta feature built into the browser, that's why adblockers exist, etc., because it's not "only on CorvetteForum" but actually a growing issue online.
We're locking this thread because we can't monitor and update multiple threads regarding the same concern. The referenced links above are there in case there's useful information to share.
Thanks.
