I'm a new member, with a new Corvette. I had been watching this forum for awhile, learning the ins/outs before I purchase this month. Most of the information requests are handled fairly well; however, there are some rude answers. In a recent pre-sale question, a member asked a question. Immediate responses were questioning the member on "why" and pushing them to read the OM and just being rude. It was pre-sales!
That is not want I want to read when anyone asks pre-sales (or even post-sale) questions. I get that many haven't read the OM (or even have one), but giving a rude answers is not the way. Instead, why not give the answer (if you know it) and suggest the OM page. If you don't have the answer and all you want to say is rtfm, don't answer ffs.
Great suggestion. It would be grand if everyone online behaved with civility and tried their best always to be courteous and helpful. Unfortunately, that's not always the case in the real world or the cyber world.
