I like how the “pop up” thread got closed pretty quick!? This has been a reacurring problem for me on my iPhone as well. It was so bad last week that I couldn’t even get my password typed all the way in wintout a fricking amazon ad popping up saying I won big! I tried on my wife’s newer iPhone 8 and it did the same thing, I have a 7+. I even tried browser apps like Firefox which did not help. When I was having this issue before, someone said it was my internet which I find that hard to believe because no other websites do this on my phone or any other device. This is the main reason I have not renewed my subscription

I've done pretty well with Adblocker Plus (which is free). Someone in the now-closed thread said they did better with Ublock Origin. I haven't tried that yet.
Yeah, I'm someone who has grown quite tired of being continually harassed with internet advertisements, and also phone calls at all hours trying to sell me stuff.

There's already two different, and active, threads regarding this issue. Some suggestions have also been posted with varying success. There's also the alternative options of using the mobile app or full-view theme that use different coding.
Regarding your comment about the thread(s) being locked. I'm assuming you're referring to another thread somewhere else outside of this Help section because this particular thread you started was just moved to the Help section. When a thread is closed, it's probably not best to post another new thread about the subject and referencing the moderation.
Since there's a Help section, and there is no need to have multiple open threads covering the same topic as it's not possible to monitor and reply to every copy, that's probably why the other thread(s) you refer to have been locked.
Also, Administrators and Moderators are not involved with the site's advertising. Internet Brands, who owns CorvetteForum, manages advertising.
