I must be living right...I've seen a few threads on these forum changes, only thing different for me was I had to add forum links to the right side where they used to auto appear...nothing else....that I've noticed anyway...

I sometimes do when I see so many threads for the very same subject 
1) There's already a thread about the change:

We can't efficiently monitor and update multiple threads covering the same topic so this thread will be locked.
2) The menu can be disabled:
If you don't like the new scroll feature with the quick reply footer, go to UserCP and disable “Infinite Scroll” and “Related Threads." and you're done.
