I can't go to the advanced settings to post my signature or anything.

Clear your browser's cache. If not, you may have a 3rd party extension or software that is altering the appearance or functionality or a setting in your browser is preventing the function.

There is no known issue with the Advanced button and this post was used as an example.

Ok, it works now, but my ability to use my signature is gone now.

You don't have a signature set. You can't attach a signature until you save one. It's in the UserCP. Basic instructions can be found in the Help Guide and FAQ linked below:
