Default How do I stop email notifications?

Every time there is a reply in a thread I've visited or posted in myself I receive an email. I visit the site often enough that I don't need these notices and they are cluttering up my inbox. How do I stop these emails?

There are different methods.

1) You can manually change the Thread Subscription Notification Type for each thread in the Advanced section when replying if you want to customize the notification per thread. Note that once you've already subscribed to the thread, you must then use #2 to make a change for that thread.

2) Go to UserCP, View all Subscribed Threads, and manually change the options for that thread.

3) To change default behavior - Go to UserCP, Edit Options and Find Default Thread Subscription Mode and change it. That will apply moving forward. However, this will not change previous thread subscriptions. Previous thread subscriptions must be edited using #2.

In other words, #3 method is the default but it does not get overridden if you use #1 or #2
