Flash Player Update POP UP???

WTF, I'm getting this "Fast Player update" Pop Up only from this corvetteforom.com. I check for updates on my apple computer through the System Preference. All is is up to date

And if I press the close tab on the top pic, the image in the 2nd pic comes up. The last pic shows that the "Flash Player is already up tp date. This happens about every five minutes or so. Driving me crazy.

There's several threads on this as it's been a problem lately. Whatever you do, don't mount the disc (install the downloaded file).

I run adblock on safari and it seems to keep it at bay, only noticed it when I had to turn off adblock on another site and forgot to turn it back on.

Me too. Very annoying. It’s keeping me from posting on the forum as I am getting that pop up every 30 seconds. Started yesterday but seemed to stop for most of the day today and now it started again. I had to post this from my phone. Pop ups are killing this site. Signing in use to keep pop ups in check, but that’s not even helping now.

I have not downloaded this update and I'm always suspicious of widows like this, I will check out adblock, thanks.

I agree, true statement. I'm trying to post this before the pop up gets me. I checked my player through my system preferences and ran a check and everything shows up to date.

It is difficult to monitor and update multiple threads.

The team is investigating to resolve. Additionally, despite personal experiences stated, the issue is not confined to CorvetteForum nor is it being served directly from CorvetteForum. You will note that fake Flash Update is an old, long-running, trick on the Internet and you will find numerous reports. Enough that Adobe has a procedure to take down the fake sites.
