I used to be able to type something up in my email (aol) with BIG LETTERS and many colors then copy and paste it here for the Special Olympics thread......it doesn't take the paste here any longer.....
So I'm wondering if you know why this no longer works.

2) When did this begin?
There are going to be few AOL customers and probably fewer who use AOL's editor to compose a message for another purpose. CorvetteForum can't control AOL and AOL's editor and doing something like you note has the possibility of not working or not working correctly.

1) What do you mean by "doesn't take the paste"? Does it paste without format or doesn't paste at all?

By the way...up until a few weeks ago it did work fine.

Right. But it wasn't intended to function that way.
The support for sizes was limited with the new editor last year because using large fonts does not scale well across multiple devices. It still can be done via manual code:
[size=3]Bigger[/size]
will do:
Bigger
Color support is provided in the toolbar using the letter A with an underline underneath it of. There is no way to add all possible known colors, so there's just basics pre-selected. Again, you can use manual code to change colors as well:
[color=#f08080]Different color[/color]
will do:
Different color
