Default Keep getting logged off

I keep getting logged off when I work on another tab in windows for any length of time causing me to have to re-log on several times a day. . I didnt see any options to enable me to stay logged on until I explicitly log off. Is there any way I can accomplish this?

By default, assuming desktop/laptop, all logins are cookie-based which means they won't expire for approximately 1 year. That relies on you and your browser, or 3rd party "maintenance" software, not deleting the cookie.

Please see the sticky in this Help section, linked below:
https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...xpectedly.html

It will direct you to further details and likely what the issue is.

Thanks for the link. Ive been using the 'login with Google' option. I wonder if thats why I keep getting bumped? With this login, I dont see the ''Remember Me' option.

The Google login is completely different. I believe it is based on the session time.

Not sure which of these two did the trick, but first I created my own login apart from 'sign in with google' even though there is no 'remember me' or equivalent setting, . and second, I unchecked the option which cleared cookies and site data in my Chrome browser advanced settings under Privacy settings under 'clear browser settings' on my laptop.

So you're not using the Google log in? In that case, you're using a normal log in and that is cookie-based by default (which is why there is no remember me option) and shouldn't expire for approximately 1 year unless you, your browser, or 3rd party maintenance software, deletes the cookie in the browser.

Like I said, I believe the Google log in uses a session token and it expires based on the session limit within the software. Because that session limit within the software is used to control Online/Offline status, Whose Online, and for new/unread notifications, that figure has to be realistic and is typically between 20-60 minutes depending on the specific website.

Yup, that goes along under the "shouldn't expire for approximately 1 year unless you, your browser, or 3rd party maintenance software, deletes the cookie in the browser" statement.
