Default Android spam ads

I cant even look at a thread without being pushed out. I am tech savvy a little. The only thing that makes it stop is to block javascript. Idk about you, but I cant use most other sites without it. The last thread on this was closed almost immediately. What's up?

I've been through it a few times before. I've got an adblocker browser I use when it happens to me.

Default Android Spam

I'm also having the same problem. I normally read through the forum during my 2 hour train ride to and from work. If I use an android device I get hit with spam within seconds of logging in to the site. And it's only this site and only on android. I can get on the site just fine from work and from home using windows 10. If I turn on my spam blocker on the phone, it won't let me view the site. If I turn it off, I still cant view the site because of the android spam. To be clear, I'm not talking about the ads along the right side of the page advertising the Tire Rack or Rock Auto. I'm talking about pop ups for Walmart surveys or free Samsung phone that fill the entire page and you can't exit out of to see the forum. I've had the IT department scan my phone repeatedly and it comes back clean.

I really like this forum but my boss isn't happy with me reading while at work. I'm spending 8.5 hours at work and another 4 hour in transit, I don't have much time when I get home.

We can't monitor and update multiple threads covering the same topic. Please continue using the following thread and provide the version you're using:
https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...opups-etc.html

In short, we're aware of the issue and working with the ad team and partners. It helps if you can provide the browser and version. Past occurrence has came through a flaw in the webkit-based browsers until it was patched by the browser's developers. So make sure you're running the most current browser version for this and any other online security flaws.

Thanks
