I see quite a few instructions on how to post pictures but I am trying to post a video. I click on manage attachments and select the short video of my engine I need to upload but it always says fail. What am I doing wrong

You will need to use YouTube, which is the primary way for people to share videos online. For help using YouTube (account, uploading, etc.,) please see their Help/Support section.
Once you've uploaded the video to YouTube you simply copy and paste the URL of the video inside your message.
When you see videos posted on CorvetteForum, the above method is the procedure that is used in most cases.
