Default C2 Ammeter Inop

My ammeter gauge does not appear to be working; the needle never moves regardless of the electrical load on the system.

Does anyone know the proper way to diagnose and test: a). the ammeter gauge b). the ammeter wiring circuit ???

Thanks!!

This Help section is for Help with the CorvetteForum website (account issues, etc.,) and is not the place to post technical questions about Corvettes. Instead, please find the correct section, based on the generation of the Corvette.

Go back to the main forum page:
https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums/

Now start to slowly scroll down until you see your generation of Corvette listed.

C1 or C2 (1953 - 1967):

Default Posting Technical Question Threads

I'm new to this forum and I am finding it very difficult to navigate (and I'm pretty computer savvy)!! You would think that it would be very intuitive and easy to find where you want to be!? All I want to do is post a technical thread but damned if I can figure out how!!!!!!!

CorvetteForum has been online for over 20 years and uses the one of the most popular (commercially available) forum software that thousands of other sites, like CorvetteForum, also use. So taking some time to browse around, read the FAQ and Announcements and Stickies, is recommended to learn the software.

The forums are categorized into different generations. As you scroll down the main forum index page:
https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums/

You will find the C1 and C2 section:

If you got a technical question about the C1 or C2, you enter the C1 & C2 Corvettes forum for technical discussions. Also take note the forums have a forum description below the link that defines the topic of each forum. Browse the forum to see if any topics pertain to your interest or question. If not, there's a New Thread button near the top left corner of that forum that allows you to compose a new thread - just as you did with this thread.

If you're selling a C1 or C2, then you'd enter the C1 & C2 Corvettes for Sale/Wanted forum

If you're looking for C1 or C2 parts, you'd enter the C1 & C2 parts forum.

We encourage new members to take some time to browse the site to learn the layout and features. We also encourage new members to read the FAQ:
https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums/faq.php

As well as read the Announcements and Stickies as they contain important and frequently asked information.
