Hello,

I recently joined the forum last week with the intent of private messaging some users about posts in the classified section. I’ve given it a few days but am still not able to PM. Is there a way I can fix this or contact an admin for the site or should I continue to let the deals pass me by?

To help protect the community against Spam and Scammers, new members do not have immediate access to send Private Messages until they've become "established" members. We cannot disclose exactly what an "established" member is, but know that it's fairly easy to do so if you use the site for its intended purpose. At a certain point, the system will then automatically upgrade the account with Private Message permissions.

This type of policy is not only not specific to this site, it's not uncommon.
