Hi everyone, I would love some opinions from the experts on what the best starter vette is. For some context, I have a 6th gen camaro ss and am fine with high horsepower, but I have next to no experience fixing issues that come up with an older car or making performance modifications. With that in mind, I am interested in getting something that can teach me how to work on a car, potentially to learn how to drive a manual properly, etc. so my first thought is that a C4 or C5 may be best (relatively low cost, things are likely to need maintenance). Any input is appreciated, thanks in advance.

Hello, this Help section is for Help with the CorvetteForum website (account issues, etc.,) and is not the place to post technical questions about Corvettes, or other questions not related to the website, as they will not be seen by other Corvette owners.
Instead, please find the correct section, based on the generation of the Corvette.
We encourage new members to take some time to browse around the site and read the Announcements and Stickies as they contain important and frequently asked information.
