I bought something from a forum member, and need to clarify some questions I have on the item. I've been trying to contact him thru IM but getting no response and I know he's been logged in, as I see posts he's made and his green online button is lit occasionally.
I haven't gotten a kickback saying his inbox is full, but could there be another way he's not getting my messages? Or..........is it most likely he's just blowing me off now that he's gotten my money?

Thanks for the info Rich, I was aware the user could turn off IMs (ala Jackdaroofer ), but the old software notified you of that fact. Do you know if the new software does this too?
Also, the thought occurred to me that maybe he put me on his "ignore list". If he did, would the software notify me of that when I sent a message? I really don't want to get aggressive with this guy unless he's obviously just taking my money and running......... I'm trying to handle this privately (hopefully)
