Default Army guy first vette

Well as the thread says I have been in the army for 20 years just bought my first vette. It is a 2005 Mil Yellow 6 speed, nav, z51. I've only had it for about 2 weeks now me and the wife have already made a trip to the NCM and it was a blast. Hope to get some cool ideas from everyone I think I might be buried in this car.

Before I got out (97) they changed the name from mess hall or chow hall to dining facility. The AF golf courses aren't bad either.

We have DFAC's(dining facility) too, but I'm old school and refuse to call it that. At least the food has gotten better and we have a very nice golf course here at Ft Knox also it's right next to the gold depoistory.

AMMO! EOD for my entire 26 years in the AF........retired out of the Elmendorf shop. Now working for Alaska Housing Finance Corp. as an Asset Manager (AssMan). We live up in Eagle Wood Subdivision. How come I've never seen that orange shark around town? We may have to hook up when the snow is gone.

I didn't drive it much last summer, the throw out bearing is screemin! There is another orange 77 in Eagle River also. He is a forum member I think. I saw his car in Fred Meyer parking lot back early October.
I was stationed at Elmendorf for 11 years. 81 to 92. I retired out of Cannon AFB in N.M.. You might have delivered my munitions a couple of times.
We definetly should get together this summer.
