Hey y'all from SE Florida!
Just wanted to stop by here and introduce myself. This morning I just commited to buying an '05 DSO ever Cashmere M6 Vette today. This will be my 6th Vette, the last being a '99, and the 3rd I'm taking to LPE for one of their brutally fast, stone reliable engines. This time I'm going for their 427 na engine. It'll have 550 hp/560 lbs-ft torque. Should be a real hoot! Going to take a good month before I ever see it, since it's coming from TX, going to LPE in IN, then finally shipped to me in SE FL. Please bear with me as I ask lots and lots of questions!
Here's a sneak peek of it copied from their page:

Congrats on the new DSOM C6. It will be a real beast when you get back for LPE. Welcome to the Corvette Forum.

Changing cars like underwear
I can't usually seem to hang onto a car very long. After my pop decided the 2 tone bronze 84 he bought wasn't his cup o tea afteralll, I boiught it, then when the "new improved" TPI 85 came out, well, one test drive and I was hooked, so I traded up. Had that for a couple yrs. Fast forward to 1990, when I bought a white Vert w/LPE 383. Hated the Ver, loved the LPE 383t! Sorry Vert owners, but not for me, too windy @120! Was my 1st and my last Vert. Soo, I transplanted the LPE 383 into the green 91 coupe, had them tweak it with thei box manifold offering, and kept it for 7 yr. Then wanting the newest, latest, greatest model, I jumped into a 99 Pewter coupe, also an LPE 383, which I kept for 2.5 more yrs. Between then and now, it's been several other marques, a few P cars and most recently an F car! (an 04 CS) So, you see, now I've come back home to the land of the Bowtie!
