Greetings and Salivations!
'Lo Gang,
Just checking in to see what I might learn as I plot a path to the acquisition of my very first vette. My preference, of course, would be a new Z06. My budget, sadly, isn't sturdy enough to handle the load.
Therefore, I am doing my homework to see where I might get the most boost for my buck. Thus far, I've learned the depreciation rate on the Z06 is quite quick and steep. So, maybe opting for a Z06 that is a couple years old might be my first plot point. I do enjoy the looks of the classics, late 60s and throughout the 70s, but knowing what technologies and creature comforts are now available is compelling me to stick to something much later.
So, I'll be snooping around, reading your posts and hopefully learning lots from you guys in preparation for my "virgin run." (test drives at my local dealership are not being counted)
Cheers!

Welcome aboard and best of luck with your quest for the best Corvette for you situation. I'm sure we will be seeing pictures of late model Z06 in your drive soon.
