Hello,

My name is Dave. I'm from Montgomery, Alabama. I own a 1989 Vette. I've been hooked on Corvettes as long as I can remember. My dad used to ride me around in his '63 Stingray Split-Window. This is my first of hopefully many Corvettes. I am now trying to wrestle away my dad's '79. Wish me luck. I have found all the information most helpful right from the start. I'm not a mechanic or anything, I just try my best to be hands-on. I look forward to spending too much time on the computer reading these various posts.

Welcome! My first ride in a Vette was in the back of a '63 coupe when I was 12. I haven't been the same since...........

Welcome Dave I really like the color of your car I'm not a C4 kind of guy, but yours is a nice one.
You let your Dad's 79 alone Us old guys can get pretty feisty about our Corvettes. Happy motoring. Bob
