Newbie!
Hi folks, I just joined and wanted to introduce myself. My father just recently passed away and willed me his 1970 LT1. It's in terribly bad shape and needs a full restoration as far as I can tell at this point. I'm pretty much completely new to the car world (yes I know I'm setting my goals wayyy to high). One of my first memories was of standing on the passenger seat of that beauty about 4 yrs old. You see why it's now become my dream to restore this thing. I'll try to post a few pictures of the beast once I have it delivered to my place. At any rate, just wanted to say hi and hope to speak to you fellow Corvette lovers in the future!

Sorry about the loss of your Dad...
The car restoration project IMHO is a awesome way to honor him.
Great car, great year, my first was a 69 TT, I wish I still had that car.
