Just wanted to say hello from another newb. Lots of great info on this site. When I turned 16, I wanted a vette. School, marriage, kids all came before but I just bought my baby a couple of weeks ago . So a 1986 coupe (the year I was 16...man I'm gettin old). Needs a lot of work, but thats the fun part for me. Its in the paint shop right now and have a new interior in the garage ready to go in when I get it back. Mostly cosmetic stuff, runs strong. I'm sure I will need some help every once in a while so nice to find this place.
Congrats on your 86 vette!! Glad you were able to finally get one. It took me longer than you to get one but they are great. Now you will be driving around with a big grin on your face. Welcome to the Forum, they're great and you will also meet a lot of new friends. :cheers
The important thing is to have one. And ya I can't get rid of the grin every time I drive it or even just stand and stare at it I've had to check it out in the paint shop a couple of times a week because I miss it. I know the owner of the body shop so I can hang around while they're working on it. Pretty cool to see the process. I should have it back next week.
