I am now a part of an Official Club. The Corvette Family. I bought my car last December and am lovin' every minute of it. I feel like a kid all over again. I'm looking forward to learning alot about these beautiful machines.

85 for 53
I just got an 1985 red vette for my 53 birthday.
My brother had it for 15 years and he saw that I was interested and the rest is history.
It is in pretty good shape but needs some electrical minor things I already ordered today.
The next job is the alarm and the door speakers.
One has to lock the pass door after getting out of the car or the alarm will sound off if you lock the driver door??
I'll have to look into that one.
The bose door speakers work abut there is no continuity from the wiring in the dash.
I think these door speakers have their own amp.
Not sure if I want to pitch the while idea or keep orig equip.
the orig owner installed a blauplunk. it was good in its day.

Welcome to the Big Family of the Corvette Forum. Like many families, we have a few eccentric cousins - ignore them. The vast majority of the members are as nice and helpful as you could ever imagine.
