hi all...
i've been signed up on here for a while but never really posted... so anywho... here i am
my name's steve, i'm 21 from the detroit area...
i've been into the custom S-10 world, but i've been secretly working on my new project... a 1972 corvette... it still belongs to my dad for the most part, but i'm sure will one day belong to me... so him and i have been working on it to make it our own original... i can't really talk much about it as some of the idea's are pretty new and have yet ro be done to a corvette... but let's just say it's not for the "pure at heart"
don't get me wrong... i love the original vettes... just the way i look at it is anyone can restore a piece of history, but why not make ur own history... customize it...
any question's i'd be happy to answer...
here's a sketch i did a while back of how the car may look... we've changed the design a couple times since then... but basicly it's the same car
thanx guys... i'll start making this a daily stop for me when i get on the net...
also once the project starts moving along i'll post pics of my progress
Welcome to another C3 owner. You'll see the entire spectrum here. Some believe that you shouldn't own a Vette unless it all OEM, to customization R us.
I figure its your Vette, do what you like. Good luck.
Congrats on the 72 Vette, Steve!! You will be driving around for quite a while with a big "corvette grin" on your face! Welcome to the Forum. They are great for learning more about vettes and you will meet a lot of new friends.
