Yes another new guy. Got my first Vette a month ago, a gold 85, still can't believe the wife let me buy it. Got it on the cheap because it would not pass the Colo. submissions, I mean EEEEmissions test. New hotter plugs, cap and roter, Seafoam in every hole, clean thicker oil, an Italian tune (long fast drive) and it passed the enhanced test. (meaning it was running so clean they cut the test short). Already saved $60 using the search for "lost wheel lock key". Big "0" tires wanted the sixty to take them off, I used a 19mm socket, hammer and a braker bar, took 10 minutes.
I'm not a real mechanic so I won't have much input on such matters unless I'm being funny. I'm a Detective by trade and my expertise is Sex Crimes, not required very often in car forums. I'll get some photos of the car up soon
