Service Column Lock

I’m a new vette owner of a 2000 c5 and I am getting the Service Column Lock message. I called the dealership and with my last 8 digits of my VIN they were able to research and advised me that both recalls have been performed a year ago. They advised me to have my vette towed in so that they can check. $$$$$$$$$. Due to the recalls being completed a year ago my column does not lock. I tried the removing the fuse dance and purchased a new battery thinking that it was a low voltage problem but none of these fixed the problem. If anyone can advise please don’t hesitate.

First - go to the C5 Section (General) and do a search on Column Lock.

Do not have the Vette towed.
