Aloha
I respect all car makers but my favorite is General Motors. I have had 3 Camaro's, 84 Z28, 1981, and a 1969 (still have). Same with my father who has had multiple Corvettes (69 convertible 427, 1978 S.A., and a 1984), he will be in the market for one within the next few years as he is retired now.
I am hoping that perhaps you LS1 Corvette guys can help me out with some mods on my GTO, which is the main reason I am here and plus I am planning on adding a Corvette to one of my 2 car garages, and another to my fathers 4 car garage within the next 3-5 years.
Again hope to gain a lot of knowledge from you LS1 guru's in the future. My "hope to have" mods by next fall with be LS6 or aftermarket LS6 style heads, .550 lift cam, larger T.B., full exhaust, 3.91 gears, shorty shifter, air box mod, and a full dyno tune.
I love Corvettes but the GTO will have to do for now. Again nice meeting some of you other GM junkies.
The Best of Corvette for Corvette Enthusiasts
I am a big Corvette fan, even to the point where I have even gone and got books to read about them, many of my friends have them and I am asked to go look at them with my friends because I tend to pass a good judgement on if/not to buy one. Having been around them my entire life because my dad and his friends I have learned a lot.
Hopefully if my 5-year plan goes as planned I will have another one sitting in the garage.
Thanks for the warm welcome and cant wait to ask some "stupid" questions.....lol

TLS, you will eventually get the car of your dreams. The GTO is a hot car and will run circles around most of the german and japanese imports.
Car was to die for, it had only been repainted once in 1980 I believe but was showing signs of cracking and starting to chip in spots, as that car will never be attainable for a person like myself I will have to be content with either an LT4/LT5 (a good friend of mine had one), or a C5/C6.....6-speed only though.
Or a triple black C4 convertible
Thanks again and maybe I will see you guys next year at Corvettes at Carlile. Missed it this year but cant wait for next summer!
