My name is Brian and my wife and I are soon to be Corvette owners.
I'm the Director of Finance for a Chevrolet, GMC, Pontiac, Buick, Dodge, Chrysler, and Jeep dealer in Eastern Oklahoma. I have worked in the auto industry for 15 years, and have had the pleasure working with all types of autos, including exotics. After a discussion with my wife, we felt we needed a sports car, and decided to research the market. We considered several automobiles, but after taking my wife for a ride in a C6, she went nuts. I ordered our car on November 2nd after much debate on what color to choose. My dealership just recieved the consensus last week, and our GM rep has told us the car scheduled to be built in March.
It should sticker around $53065, and we can't wait to get it.
Besides my love for automobiles, I enjoy flying (I am a private pilot), collecting high end timepieces, enjoy riding ATV's, scuba diving, and traveling.
Got ours in December. You will love it.
You probably can drop your pilot license the C6 is faster than most light airplanes, way faster than a J3 cub.
I couldn't decide between velocity yellow or black. Both good colors.
I ended up with Artic White. Too good a deal on a new 07 still in stock to turn down.

Thanks for the welcome.
Maumelle?
I live in Fort Smith.
Small world!
True, some aircraft are much slower than the C6. Luckily, not many speed limits in the sky, unless you are in congested controlled airspace.
Welcome to the CF. I did a short stint at Chaffee in the early 80's when the Cuban refugees were there. My parents lived in Ft Smith. Welcome aboard and remember 8 hours between the bottle and the throttle. Turning final, full stop 99N.
Fantastic Brian. Welcome to the forum and congratulations on your order. You and your wife are going to love this car. You picked the right color and most of the same options I got in December. Enjoy... Donn

Cool!
Nice to see a few Velocity Yellow/Competition Yellow rides on the forum.
We are very excited about the car, if March would just get here a bit faster!
