I hope this works!
Hello everyone. In 1974, at age 18 I bought a 1966 Milano Maroon 327/350 HP, 4 speed with both tops, factory side pipes, A/C, power steering, power windows, teakwood wheel, and an AM/FM radio. I was in love with it. The best car, by far, that I ever owned. Two front end small hits put insurance out of reach and I sold it after just one year for $2,700. I know, its not affordable to replace that car now. Who knew?
Well, all these years later, married, three sons, working in NYC, taking the LIRR 26 years I never stopped wanting another one. Most of my buddies went the Harley route but driving a bike on Long Island is not fun for me. I told my wife I wanted to get one for the last couple of years. When the 2008 came out I read about the improvements, and horsepower, and was really revved. All my sons kept saying was “Just Buy It”. So I did.
I jus picked my 2008 Crystal Red, LT-2, Z-51, NPP, Ebony interior, Chrome wheeled baby. I am in love again. 250 miles in 2 days. Now all my sons want to drive it. What a surprise. Back in the day we would flash our lights to other Vettes, now I will always do the wave. A friend of mine with a C5 told me about this forum and how addicting it was. I have been following it since but wanted to wait until my car came in to join.
I am sure I will have a million questions but the first is what is the best wax and car wash for this car? I read about the Zaino and have heard to may horror stories. I like waxing my cars so doing it twice a month is no big deal to me. Please let me know what you think. Thanks, I will contribute whatever I can!

And Welcome to the Forum!!!! As to Zaino, it's only a "horror story" the first time you do it. After that it's like any wax, quick on and off, maybe 30 minutes, but you only "need" to do it a couple times a year. Your decision, but make sure you understand everything before you decide.
Oh, here, I fixed your photo post. Click on the "quote" button to see how I did the code. You use the "IMG" line, not the "url" line.
