I'm Kyle, aka 7K, a stage name from my 5 years in a moderately successful midwest industrial/metal band. I'm a self employed audio engineer and PC tech, I also freelance as a fill in muscian for a few area bands, and sometimes sell my solo music for use on sports videos. Just purchased my first corvette, a slightly damaged C5, which I'm rebuilding with the help and guidance of a very experienced auto body friend. Most parts have been ordered from members of this forum already. The Corvette will replace my Mitsubishi 3000gt. When i was in high school I always wanted a 3000GT and a Corvette, coming from a lower middle class family a badly broken home, it was nearly impossible. The 3000gt's came into my price range first, then my price range increased, thankfully. Trying to find a mechanic for that thing is a pain, especially in my small town. I told myself I'd have a Corvette before I was 30. I missed that mark by just a few months. I'm sure this is only the first of many in my future. I tell everyone it's an early midlife crisis, you know the stereotype of Corvette owners! I'm sure I'll be a frequent visitor of the forum, especially while I rebuild this thing, and shop for a 2nd. I have this weird OCD where I need to have 2 of everything!
