Hi everyone. My name is Paul and I am getting ready to order my first Corvette.
I've been watching the forums now for a few months, trying to get an idea of what to watch for, etc. I am impressed by the info here, esp. the sponsoring dealers who seem to give great prices. Another thing about the forum that convinced me to get a 'vette were all the positive posts re: your experiences with the car, reliability etc. Over at the Porsche forum it was all 'How do you fix this,' etc.
I plan to do the museum delivery after I find the best price on what I want.
I see lots of from members talking about their particular dealer. Are there any especially good recommendations or warnings out there?
I will have more q's but I will save them for other forums.

Ask your dealer about "allocation" big dealers will have plenty of allocation smaller wont be able to order you a car. thats my 2cents good luck:thumbs
Hey Paul! Welcome to the Forum!!!!!! From another retired Calif public servant. Look forward to seeing you in C6 General.
You only need to contact ONE person to order your car, Tim Boone at Boardwalk Chev in Redwood City, Ca. Fantastic to deal with, best prices and impeccable reputation. Are you getting an '08 or '09?

After contacting several dealers via internet, including a couple here on the forum, Tim gave me the lowest price by about $500! Boardwalk is less than a hour away from me--I dropped a deposit check off yesterday for one of the last '08's!
