Hi all,

Thanks for all the welcomes and sorry for not posting sooner.

I'm updating from LA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Made it accross the desert yesterday but have been started of internet in everywhere but Vegas. Sure you can guess why we didn't have time to update then

The 1st day we set out late due to the weather, stormy in Detroit but managed to push onto Springfield Illinios. Great night out with the locals..

Early (ish) start and heading for Oklahoma City - bit of a problem when gasing the car as the overflow seemed to start syphoning fuel all over the gas station!!! Stemmed the flow (learnt a little about carbon filters too ) and made Oklahoma pretty late .....

Pushed on in the morning through the ever increasing heat of the desert but all the time spent working on the cooling system before we setout seemed to have done the job as se was running nicely even in the midday heat. Made Vegas at around 10pm but just as we arrived the heat took it's toll on the 2nd cooling fan we installed and it failed so we parked up and started a few days of "what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas"

2 nights later, left with more dollars than I started with (just) Sunday morning set out for Long Beach, LA on setting out we realised the fan had also takenout the accessories line with our temp guage on it, nothing which couldn't be fixed with a jerry-rig arround the issue. Arrived in LA throught some mad traffic at 3:30 pm. Will post some pics of the car in Long Beach later tonight!
