Blown 73 - Corvette Summer
Hi everyone.
I just got my first vette!! I'm an English guy with hopes of a summer experiencing the American dream in what can only be described as my dream car!!!
Myself and a friend are setting out for a 3 week blast from Deroit, onto the infamous Rt.66, heading to the west coast for week 1.
Then heading along the southern boarder, briefly hit Mexico taking in the sights and turning the corner north in week 2.
Finally hoping to make it as far as the very North East and even get back to Michigan via Toronto to make a full house of countries!!!!
Does anyone have any suggestions of "must see" places or events on the way? I could really do with some local knowledge as I think books and internet sights only tell half the story.
Ready to hit the road!!!

Geez, why don't you wait 'till the very last minute to ask for suggestions?Here is the link for the Main forums page, scroll down to the Local Events and Regional part. Then you can pick the regions you'll be going through. Post your question in the appropriate Regional sections for local, knowledgeable advice. Good luck.

I'll get on it! We've been struggling with cooling issues for the last day or so and haven't gotten round to too much route planning.
We'll be hooking-up online on route (not a post every fuel stop ..... you might not have the storage!!!!)
