Owned nothing but Mustangs for the past 15 years, with the previous 2 being a Roush Stage 2 and a Roush Stage 3. Roush and Saleen Mustangs are what Callaway and Lingenfelter are to Corvettes. My wife convinced me we needed 4 doors when "we" became pregnant, so I leased a Black Raven 2007 Cadillac CTS-V, as I was not sure how soon I would be deploying. I had the car 16 months before I headed to the desert and my wife turned the car back over to GMAC. Seeing as I took my son to ONE Dr's appt. in those 16 months, I won the arguement for the necessity of 4 doors, and a back seat, for that matter. Two days spent with Robin Pratt & Co. of Pratt & Miller (Corvette Racing) at the Petit LeMans at Road Atlanta, and seeing how much fun was had at the Corvette Corrall, had me sold. However, my father has always owned Vettes (currently a '63 vert), but I really fell in love with an '84.5(?) Red 'vert when I was a younger lad. I cannot tell you how many times I sat in my friend's father's car, hands on the wheel thinking "someday." That day came this past Tuesday.
