I am currently working on an 1985 coupe. I am doing a little at a time to restore it, but I am not a "purist". I want to drive my car, not look at it.
I have completely redone the brakes and the master cylinder and the front suspension has been rebuilt.
Motor work will be done as needed, but I want to install a mild cam with roller rockers.
I intend to redo the interior and have already replaced the electric window motors with a newer (non-plastic) model.
Wheels & exhaust are also on my list and paint will be the very last thing on the schedule. I don't want a mechanic leaning on fresh paint.
I am impressed with the forum & am hoping to use it as a valuable source of info.
