Have been looking for a C2 Corvette for years. Was hoping on buying one next year south of the 49th when a 66 convertible showed up locally last week. Previous owner had owned it for 25+ years. Original 300hp engine with 15k on the rebuild. Nassau blue with blue leather interior (now black), side exhaust, AM-FM radio, teak wheel. Hadn't turned a wheel since 2003. Fortunately the better half agreed......... mind you she left for Mexico today. Really happy to have been able to buy it. Any Corvette experts out there who wouldn't mind passing along some wisdon, please PM me. Need to replace the bearings in a wonky steering column..... and fix a bunch of other minor items. I'd post some pictures but have no clue how.
Really look forward to learning and contributing to this site.
