Thanks for the ideas and the welcome.
My Wife and I went to the Pavillions last Saturday and asked the Corvette owners some questions. As you said they were more than willing to discuss their cars history, and give advice. It was a great time and we really enjoyed the day.
I haven't decided on the car I want, and of course the color is imprortant to the wife. I like speed and she is into the color, so I think we like the Chrystal red or the new Orange for colors. To me faster is better. I use to build my own engines for my 67 Corvette, but times were simpler then and I was younger, so new is in my future.
I spent some time with the dealers, but hate to pay 8.2 percent to the govener on a 50k+ car, but it helps the state stay solvent.
We live in Chandler, so probably not too far from your location.
