I've been lurking on this site for a while, since I decided to take the plunge again, and I must say it is a very informative forum. I say take the plunge again because this weekend I am going to buy my second Corvette.
I traded in my first wife for a '00 convertible. I moved out here to Albuquerque from FWB, Fl a few months and a deployment to the desert later. Met my 2nd/current wife shortly after arriving here and we proceded to buy a house that we had to do some serious remodelling to. Well it is very hard to haul lumber etc. in a vette so against her wishes, and mine, I got rid of it and bought a truck. She really liked it and told me I would definitely get another one in the future. Well the future is NOW, or at least this weekend.
As for me, I just retired from the AF after 22+ years as an aircraft mechanic then a Flight Engineer with my final assignment being on the CV-22 Osprey which is the best of all the aircraft I flew on in my career.
I hope to learn more from you all and maybe even contribute someday.
