Hey-
I just stumbled across this forum and joined. I am a new, first time Corvette owner. She arrived at my home in upstate NY this past saturday. It is a 1981 cream w/ oak interior with only 13,295 original miles. so cool! I have so many questions about caring for, servicing, and storing (during winter) that I hope to learn answers from this experienced group. I am trying to figure out how to post up a pic or two. ......mike

And just to start you out with one answer to your winter storage question, here's a list that has been around here for many years. Not everyone follows it but it's a good starting point. Just pick and choose what you want to do with your car:
Fill gas tank and add Sta-Bil; run through fuel lines.
Change oil and filter.
Park on moisture barrier
Inflate tires to 38 psi cold.
Apply sealant, wax, etc. to exterior paint.
Apply leather dressing to seat panel.
Apply vinyl dressing to interior; and to exterior black trim pieces.
Hook up Battery Tender.
Crack windows a bit.
Cover with Wolf Dustop inside car cover.
