Like my name says, I'm that1tallguy ... yea, 6'8 and damnit I want a vette (c5 please ... can't shift a manual c6). Been wanting one for a while now and I'm pretty active in my search efforts as of late. With any bit of luck, I'll be able to pick up a black c5 z06 sometime before too long...
only problem you'll have with me ... I'm a Risi Competizione fan (if you have no idea what that is, ignore the rest), and we get the new 458 ferrari's next year -- already confirmed from Risi so GT2 is gonna have some serious problems ... damn Lizards

Why do you think you can shift a C5 manual but not a C6 manual? IMO the C6 has more room inside. Best of luck finding a car that's right for you. Enjoy the Forums.

the c6 doesn't seem to have more room width wise or the seat doesn't go back as far -- can't move my knee up to hit the clutch comfortably, I hit the door. So rather than get an auto ... I have to 'stick' with the c5

I'm surprised but I understand. I'm only 6-3 and was only in a C5 once and I felt claustrophobic compared to the C6. Different strokes I guess. Again best of luck.
As for GT2 next year, the competition is going to make for some fabulous and exciting racing. Most of us are looking forward to it, no matter who wins.....with Corvettes being our favorites of course.
