Long Time Coming
Hi Folks.
New member here and 1st time Vette owner.
I just (somewhat impulsively) picked up a very clean, low mileage 1980 T-Top in dark brown with beige/doeskin interior.
I picked it up on my 48th birthday the other night.
I was born in 1961 and have been hot for Vettes since I could walk. The truth is that I never thought I would ever get one.
I decided after going into a local bank to find out that they would only give me 1.3% on a $10,000 CD that a hard asset might be a better idea.
Now in an ideal world I would have a '68-'71 T-Top, but can't afford one, so the squeaky clean '80 will have to do. The fact is that I like it more than I thought I would.
Anyway, nice forum....nice to be here.
