Hello from Oregon!
Hello everyone!
I'm Ryan, from Corvallis, Oregon. I'm 20 years old and bought my first corvette about a year ago, which is a 1975 coupe, with an automatic transmission. It didn't like the rain too much this winter, and my windows don't seal properly, so right now I'm stripping down the interior. Definitely going to redo the carpets, also thinking about doing a wood conversion for the dash/console.
Next order of business is the body. Due to some driver error, I have a sizeable smash in my fender, so that will be the first thing to tend to. Will definitely need to repaint subsequently. After that, I am planning on converting my automatic to a manual transmission. Further down the road.. only God knows.
I would love to hook up with anyone from this area, as I have very little experience working on cars in general, much less corvettes :P
