Default Hi all!

Long time listener, first time caller.

Just bought a '79 L-48 car from a friend of mine. He has owned it for about 19 years and has put nearly 500 miles on it in that time (it shows just over 61,400 on the ticker). He has moved and his new place and work schedule makes it hard for him to keep it, so I got first shot at it with a good price. Most everything is there and works but is very tired after sitting for so long. I have been lurking here for a long time, mostly in the C6 section and now need your help with getting this ole' girl up to snuff. Very knowledgable folks here, glad to be amongst you all. Thanks in advance for your help, Rick.

Red with black interior. Just over 61,400 miles on her. Most everything works. About to go out to the garage to attempt to run down the temperature gauge sending unit wire. Hopped on here real quick to check how it is routed. Hope it is hiding somewhere.
