A young kid in my class says that the Corvette is going to be discontinued and this is going to be the last year model. Is this true?

Thankyou for the welcomes. Even though I am an Alfisti I do love corvettes and still upset that Team Puegeut (dp1) took out the leading Corvette (GT1) at the Le Mans 24 hour Well karma comes around and all four Pueguets did not finnish and the Corvette later returns after repairs to finish at 13th I think. Good Job Mr. Magnussen.
