hey guys just posting up to say hello, I'm new to the site. I'm a SGT in the us army currently deployed for a year in iraq sold my car n bike before i left and looking to get a C5 z06 upon coming home.
im a new guy to corvettes spent a lot of my time in the tuner scene built a lot of import motors and a lot of turbo and nitrous builds. I'm a mechanic in my spare time as a hobby, just got a passion for building motors getting my hands dirty on a car turning some wrenches then hopping in for a ride.

well i found my Vette, came home to FL on my 2 week mid tour leave and found a great deal on a 99 FRC hard top i couldn't pass up, it's been done up like a zo6, gauge Cluster, seats Fake *** stick on vents, badges fuel rail covers, supposedly tuned to 380 hp haven't dyno'ed it to find out. Has under 100000 miles. First Vette and defiantly loving it. lol going to miss it when i leave again to go back over seas monday but for now i'm enjoying it. I was originally going to wait till it has around 200000 miles on it and drop in a ls6 but after doing so research i found out i can drop and ls2 into it with little modifications to the car and wind up with even more power so ill probably start looking to find a reasonable priced ls2 and pick it up do some work to it till I'm higher milage on this motor then do the swap. Im even looking into twin turbo kits. lol this is my first none import tuner car so of corse right away i though of boosting it lol, i gotta break my tuner way of thinking lol
